Professor of international law and human rights at the Law and International Relations schools of FGV – Fundação Getúlio Vargas in SP. He has a master’s and doctorate in international law from the Central European University (Austria). He is the founder and coordinator of the Racial Justice and Law Center at FGV, where he worked for many years as diversity coordinator. In 2023, he taught as a visiting professor at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs in New York, and he did a postdoctoral internship at New York University (NYU) in 2021. He is a consultant and speaker on topics of inclusion, diversity and equity, as well as ESG. He contributed to the founding of the Legal Alliance for Racial Equity. He writes weekly for Brazil’s main newspaper, Folha de S. Paulo, and is a member of the editorial board of the same newspaper and Piauí magazine, as well as a member of the advisory boards of the Tide Setubal foundation and the NGO Sou da Paz.
