Dario Durigan is the current executive secretary of the Ministry of Finance. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco do Brasil and is a member of the Fiscal Council of Vale S/A. A lawyer with a degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master’s degree in Law and Legal Research from the University of Brasília (UnB), Durigan served as a special advisor to the City of São Paulo between 2015 and 2016, and was also an advisor on legal affairs for the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic during the administration of former President Dilma Rousseff, from 2011 to 2015. In addition, he was a civil servant at the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) from 2017 to 2019. Before taking office at the Ministry of Finance, Durigan worked as Director of Public Policies at WhatsApp.
