The workshop – led by Gretchen Greene, AI Policy at Meta – aims to share with the DPGC community, from an industry perspective, an overview of the technical and standardization efforts related to the topic of “generative AI content provenance”. The session will delve into conceptual and practical aspects of the topic, and discuss operational challenges and trade-offs inherent in different technical approaches to generating visible and invisible watermarks, using metadata, and tagging.
