Henry R. Silvermen Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania. One of the field’s leading feminist privacy philosophers and intellectuals, she received the 2021 Philip Quinn Prize from the American Philosophical Association. In 2010, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to the Presidential Committee on Bioethics. Anita Allen is the author of Uneasy Access (1988), Why Privacy Isn’t Everything (2003), The New Ethics (2004), Privacy Law and Society (2007), and Unpopular Privacy (2011). She speaks for the first time in Brazil at the second edition of the Data Privacy Global Conference.
