Lawyer. Coordinator of the professional Master’s Program in Law at IDP. Professor at IDP and at the University of Brasília (UnB). Holds a PhD in Private Law from Humboldt University of Berlin. Holds a Master’s degree in Law, State, and Constitution from the University of Brasília (UnB). Member of the Board of the Luso-German Association of Jurists (DLJV-Berlin) and of the Brazilian Institute of Consumer Policy and Law (Brasilcon). Director of the Center for Law, Internet, and Society at IDP (CEDIS/IDP). She was one of the authors of the draft bill on data protection that resulted in the General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018). Rapporteur of the Chamber of Deputies’ Committee of Jurists responsible for drafting the bill on data protection in criminal prosecution. Author of the book “Privacy, Data Protection, and Consumer Protection: General Guidelines of a New Fundamental Right” (Saraiva, 2014) and coordinator of the Treatise on Personal Data Protection (Gen Publishing, 2020).
