Miriam Wimmer is Director of the National Data Protection Authority – ANPD. She holds a PhD in Communication and Culture Policies from the Faculty of Communication at UnB and a Master’s in Public Law from UERJ. She has been a public servant since 2007, having held advisory and management positions in different organizations, such as the National Telecommunications Agency – Anatel, the Ministry of Communications, and the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations, and Communications. She is also a professor on the permanent staff of the Professional Masters in Law at IDP and a guest professor on digital law and personal data protection at several institutions.
