She holds a PhD in Social Communication from the University of Brasília (UnB, 2018), with a research stay at the Institute of Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon. She is a professor and coordinator of the Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Since 2019, she has served as editor of REVISTA EPTIC – International Electronic Journal of Political Economy of Information, Communication, and Culture (www.revistaeptic.ufs.br).

She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Economics at the University of Sergipe, with a research stay at the University of Minho (Portugal), as part of the project “Economic Governance of Digital Networks,” funded by FAPESP. She coordinates Telas – Research Laboratory on Communication Policy, Technology, and Economics. She is also a researcher in the GT Political Economy of Information, Communication, and Culture group at CLACSO and a member of DiraCom – Right to Communication and Democracy.
