Joan Lopez-Solano is a researcher and policy officer on the Global Data Justice project at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT). He is a consultant at the Fundacion Karisma, a Colombian digital rights organization. He was a Fellow at Red en Defensa de los Derechos Digitales (R3D) and the Center for Latin American Studies at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt (ZILAS). He is a historian with an MA in Sociology from Bielefeld University in Germany.
