Prof. Dr. Leonardo Ribeiro da Cruz holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social sciences and a PhD in sociology. He is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Sociology and Anthropology of the Federal University of Pará. He serves as coordinator of the Amazon Laboratory of Sociotechnical Studies research group of the Federal University of Pará (LAES-UFPA), co-coordinator of the Supervised Education Observatory and is a researcher and member of the advisory board of the Latin American Network for Studies on Surveillance, Technology and Society (LAVITS Network). Currently, it researches topics related to the plataformization of public education in Brazil and Latin America.
